About Horizon
Who We Are
Horizon Hobby is an employee-owned company and
the exclusive North American distributor of JR products. We employ nearly 700
people and sell products in more than 50 countries around the world. Horizon
has earned a trusted reputation throughout the hobby industry thanks to
exceptional integrity and the highest standards of product expertise and
customer service. At the core of our business philosophy is the belief that
people are the key to our success. As a result, our desire as a company has always
been to treat each other, each customer and each supplier with utmost respect,
as we would best like to be treated ourselves.

What We Do
Founded in 1985, Horizon Hobby, Inc. is an international marketer and distributor
of radio control (RC) cars, boats, planes and helicopters; model railroad;
plastic and die-cast models; and other general hobby products. We support
our distribution efforts with cutting-edge retailer services and direct-to-consumer
marketing through print media and e-commerce. We are also one of the leading
developers of radio control hobby products which include many of the biggest
names in the industry such as Hangar 9 airplanes, HobbyZone entry level
RC sports and Losi cars and trucks.

Where We're Located
Corporate headquarters, along with the main distribution facility and product
service center, are located in Champaign, Illinois. Distribution centers can
also be found in Ontario, California; Harlow, England (site of Horizon Hobby
UK Ltd.) and Elmshorn, Germany (site of Horizon Hobby Deutschland GmbH). Our
Asian office is based in Zhuhal, China.
